
Researcher using iSDG awarded the Lauréat de l'Académie CAP 20-25
Millennium Institute’s collaborator Arnaud Diemer, has been selected as a recipient of the Lauréat de l'Académie CAP 20-25.
Co-funded by Clermont Auvergne Métropole and managed by the Clermont Auvergne University Foundation, the CAP 20-25 Academy is a showcase for the scientific excellence. The award is given annually to up to three top researchers working within the perimeter of the University of Clermont Auvergne.
Arnaud’s research focuses on Economic Modelling, History of Ideas and Economic Facts, Agricultural Innovations and Education for Sustainable Development. Arnaud uses MI’s iSDG model to understand and model the many interactions between different subsystems (the economic, energy, climate, agricultural, food system, etc.) in order to propose scenarios (post-growth and decline) by 2030 and 2050.
Arnaud is Associate Professor at Université Clermont Auvergne, in the Centre for Studies and Research on International Development (CERDI). He also the founder and scientific coordinator of the ERASME Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on Sustainability, which works to facilitate sustainable system development within and beyond Europe through research, educational and networking activities.
